This theme explores the challenges related to the adoption and implementation of national and international accreditation frameworks (ANEAQ, ATEA, CTI, EUR-ACE, ABET, AACSB, etc.) in engineering and management education. It will focus on quality standards, assessment methodologies, and continuous improvement strategies.

Topic 2 : Micro-credentials and recognition of student engagement

This theme focuses on emerging mechanisms for recognizing transversal skills, student engagement, and individualized learning paths through micro-certifications and Open Badges. It will examine validation tools, governance challenges, and perspectives for integration into academic and professional pathways.

Topic 3: AI and Accreditation – opportunities, tools, ethics

This theme addresses the integration of artificial intelligence, including generative AI, into teaching, quality assurance, and accreditation processes. It will cover the opportunities offered in terms of automation and learning analytics, as well as the ethical challenges involved: transparency, algorithmic bias, plagiarism, and academic integrity. The objective is to identify a responsible and ethical use of AI in higher education.

 Topic 4: Sustainable Development, Inclusion, Gender and Responsible Accreditations

This theme will highlight how accreditation frameworks can integrate the principles of sustainable development, social inclusion, and gender equality. It will examine the role of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the evaluation of academic programs and will showcase concrete examples from institutions that have implemented inclusive and ethical approaches. The goal is to promote a responsible, equitable, and socially responsive education.
